HAPPY CNY 2009!!!

It's the year of the Ox.... May all my friends and my Family have a Prosperous and Smooth-Sailing Year.... Most importantly, be happy and wealthy!

This year is not a bad start for me.. as I have won $18!! wahahaha... Not bad not bad, i shall aim to win double of that next yr... hehe...

Juz an update: I'm one step closer to my plans.... Have finally plucked up the courage to step forward... I really hope everything can be settled within 2 weeks if not I really dont have the chance anymore... *prays hard....

Anyway, the fellow below peed on my bed A-G-A-I-N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's having evil thoughts behind that innocent smile....

I went shopping with my mama n sis at Chinatown last sat. Oh my, Chinatown is really a shopping heaven lo!!!!!!!!! All the clothes are so nice.........I bought things from almost all the shops I patronised.. Grrr.. It's bad 'cause I'm left with a big hole in my wallet... I bought a dress for $59 after discount and I saw the same dress selling at FEP for $62!! Another dress which I didnt manage to buy goes at $59 also at the Chinatown shop but was selling at FEP for $74!!!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!! I hope the discount will last until after CNY.... heeeee...

Attended my cousin's wedding on 8th Dec at Grand Copthorne. The video of the morning's tea ceremony was hilarious!!!

I brought my camera along!! but blur me 4got to charge it again!!! It is the 2nd time this has happened... So we make do with my sis's hp... N we had to wait til the lightings all on b4 we can take a clear picture... Lousy phone...

On 20th Dec, we went to BATAM ( again...)

Finally reached Batam....

We stayed at PuraJaya Resort... Not a bad hotel.... But it was very isolated... There's nth around the resort... And it take around 30mins to go Batam centre..

While waiting for my sis n bro-in-law to check in

Nice view from my room.... but the sea is a bit dirty.... Seems like it's muddy at the shore...

The room's pretty big!! Not bad for its cheap rate...

So, we went shopping at Mega Mall!!!!!!!!!!

On the 2nd night, we did a very exciting thing!!!!!!!!!!

Fireworks!!!

It is nothing like what we used to play when we were kids!!

They are real, powerful fireworks!!!!!

All the guys were very excited lor........ Especially Dede n my father....

My sister is holding a 'bud' which goes off in like 5secs after it's lighted, and she's supposed to throw it high up in the air....

I think Dede is so kia si that he's running for his life!!!!! haha

Nice view at the swimming pool...

Nice to see, but it's really dirty... We saw a millipede (right spelling?) along the rocks and also a dead lizard floating in the water. eeewwww...

In fact, while we were taking the above pic, the millipede crawled onto my father's arm... And of course, that millipede died a terrible death... All thanks to Dede lor!!!

Nonetheless, we still managed to take a picture after the millipede scare.

Had an enjoyable time there!! Goodbye Batam!!!!!

We tried to accurately point to one of the display but we just couldnt do it..... So that's why you see it's 1 too high and 1 too low.. We gave up in the end..

it's 3.35am... N Dede is not back yet!!!!! alright, hope he buys some food for me.... Im starving....... Diet plan can put aside first... hehe...

A Doggie gathering in my HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awwww... so cute so cute so cute!!!! All males

Dodo!!! He loves to be sayang and really very 'licky'!!! haha... Been forcefully kissed by him so many times lo....

Can see that he got really long tongue and scared the hell outta my mother!! haha... He tried to lick my mum's face and she was freaking scared.... haha... she even said "hey dont like that la.. 我跟你不熟"... Faintz..

I love love lovvvveeeeeeeeee poodle!!!!!

I heard about the triangle r/s he has with Meimei and Schnappi!! haha.... Apparently, Schnappi likes Meimei, but Meimei like Clipto... But it seems that Clipto doesnt like Meimei.. Aiyo... 很乱很乱!!!

One thing I have to say. Schnappi is really very ANTISOCIAL LO!!! He can sniff other dogs but they cannot sniff him! He will growl and tried to bite the dog. SO UNFRIENDLY!!! Now, he's friendless. No one wants to be his friends already. All the dogs are scared of him. Dont be fooled by his angelic appearance. He's a little tyrant beneath his innocent front.

"So I got no friends. But who cares?! Im still the pampered king of the house!!!! Hmmph"

Oh... Today is my Papa's Birthday!!! Happy Birthday!!!! Karen brought my parents to watch 钱不够用2!!!!! Kelly went to Gerald's house with the 2 doggies.... Dede went for his soccer game... AND IM LEFT ALONE AT HOME AGAIN!!!!!!!! hmm... with Schnappi of course.... Wanted to have a hair cut actually but Im too lazy to go out!! I really hate Sundays.... It's an official off day but why am I so reluctant to leave my nest??? grrrr..... I SHOULD GO OUT MORE!!!!!!

Yesterday went JB with Dede, Kelly and Gerald. Like traitor like that... haha... Own country's birthday but we choose to visit our neighbour. Anyway, was surprised that the road from Woodlands checkpoint leading to JB was clear!!!!!!!!! But it was a little jam on our way back... Anyway, we went to Holiday Plaza for their very cheap PIZZA!!! 4 of us spent a total of only RM 81!! Woot.... And we really filled ourselves to the throat lo!!! After which, we moved to City Square. Initial plan was either a movie or ktv. But the ktv was freaking expensive, RM 48/pax from 8pm to 12mn, which include a buffet dinner. We thought it was not worth it 'cause we went there before but it was not that expensive.. And no movies shown were what we wanted to watch, except Mummy 3 but Gerald watch it already.. So in the end, we did what we girls do best! Shopping!!!!!!!!!!!

haha.... Didnt know that they offered discounts in some shops due to Singapore's National Day!!! haha.... Think they wanted to attract more Singaporeans to spend in Malaysia, especially on Singapore's big day.

And Dede has the most expensive buy lo..... A subcrew cap ( worth RM169). I thought it will be so wasteful if he only wears it on certain days. So to fully maximise the use of the cap, I will wear it also!!!! woot.... clever leh...

Oh.. back to work-related stuff. We really worked our a** off on Friday!!!! I didnt know that Singhealth polyclinic opened half day only!!!!!! All the patients then came to NHG polyclinics lo... We practically had no time to rest!!!!!! Throughout the whole day, the pharmacy was never a moment empty!! I think the patients knew that we were really stressed up that's why they were all so obedient. Never complain at all! haha... okay. And, on average, the waiting time was......... 2 hours!!!!!!!!!!!! If I were ill on that day or just wanna fake an mc, I would rather spend more and visit a private GP than go to polyclinics.

So, I urged anyone who has a heart of gold, please avoid polyclinics esp on Monday, the day before and after PH, Saturdays.... hmm.. Basically, just dont go to polyclinics if you have the extra cash to spare. Please Ke Lian us, who really worked very hard in clearing the patients. *wiping off tears

Ohh.... Have I ever blogged that i attempted to donate blood with my sisters??

haha... Three of us walked into Sengkang multipurpose hall on a Saturday afternoon. All of us were very nervous and... ermm nervous. Actually Karen donated blood before. Not sure how many times but I think is more than 2 times.. haha.. Ok.. I went through all the stages.. From filling up the form, assessment by the doctor, testing blood type and finally, lying on the stretcher (or bed). The nurse came up to me and asked me to hold a pump and asked me to clenched it in my fist. She then tapped the inner of my arm at the elbow area but just couldnt find my vein. She tried the other arm and also couldnt find it. In the end, she asked me to exercise more 'cause my vein is just too small for the needle. Then Kelly came along. She too couldnt donate blood 'cause she just took flu medicine 3 days ago. So we thought Karen was the only one who can donate. But but but.. She came to us and said she also couldnt donate. haha... She had a condition recently which results in antibodies permanently circulating in her blood. hmmm... So we went home feeling very amused.

Schnappi says, " DONATE BLOOD AND SAVE LIVES!!"

I didnt work this whole week. (Hurray!!) Reason being I've got an exams on Thursday so I took leave( 4.5days including last Saturday) to study. I was kinda 'looking forward' to this long break although I was supposed to study intensively as we were going to be tested on lecture notes as thick as the Yellow Pages. Unfortunately, my mother was admitted to KKH on Wednesday and was scheduled a surgery on Thursday, which so happened to be on the same day as my exams.

And so, I skipped my exams and took leave today just to accompany my mother over the night. She was not able to sleep on the first night as she was all alone in the room. ( oh.. she requested for an A2 ward but was given an A1 as there's none available). It was freaking cold in the room but I couldnt adjust to a higher T 'cause my mother claimed she's 'very hot'!! Normally, I couldnt stand aircon temperatures to be below 24deg and my mother always set the aircon in her room to 26deg and yet she claimed she's ' extremely hot' in the 23deg room.

Alright, the night is finally over. My sis is there now to take over my shift. And she brought along her laptop and dvds!!!! So unfair!!! I was only able to switch from Ch 5 to Ch8 to ChU throughout the whole night!!!

By the way, I think I'm having slight food poisoning now. Must be the tomyam ban mian I ate for lunch!!!!

Went to gym with Fyebe and Dede... I cant even lift up the lightest weight... grrrr... After that dinner at Crystal Jade... hehe... Ate back all the calories lost...

12th May--

Wached Spidey... it's like FINALLY!!!!

Tears welled up in my eyes during some touching scenes and I tried to wipe it off silently from my face... Idiotic guy who sat beside me saw it.... He must have thought that I'm a crybaby... So, whenever there's a touching scene coming, he would turned and looked at me.. SICKENING!!!!
