Went to Vivo with Dede.... Visited Pet Safari on level 3.. The doggies are so cute... 1 maltese( 2-month old, male) costs 1280.. hmm.. I've read some online articles on puppies mill recently (here). Some poor doggies are forced to breed their whole life resulting in severe hip dysplasia. They are being treated as puppies-making machine. Veri often, the dogs are kept in poor ventilated and dirty small cages barely allowing them to move around. The doggies are not being treated humanely. Their cages are not cleaned, and the people dun even bother to clear the wastes from the cages. The poor dogs have to slp in a cage with faeces and bacteria all around them and as a result, suffered infections of the skin, and serious inflammation of the untreated infection. Once they are ill or cant reproduce anymore, they are left to die. Some pups are born with defects due to the poor mother's health condition. And these pups may well be in the cages that you see in pet shops and pet farms.


I once went to a pet farm in Pasir Ris 1 yr ago. I bot my Schnappi from there too. The owner is a nice lady, and she seems to take care of her doggies well. My Schnappi appears healthy, bubbling n cute.. Now he's 1yr +, an adult male. But his testes are still hidden inside. By right, it shld have came out. A vet saw him and said that if his testes are not out by feb den he might have to undergo surgery, if not, it's gonna cause cancer. So ya... it's not out yet.. And my sis's bf is bringing him to see the vet and do sth abt it..


And yes, gotta warn those ppl who's going to pet farm to buy ur pet. There's a store on the right hand side of Eriksson Pet farm. It's quite hidden actually. I went to see the pets. The cages are indeed veri small. it's like more suitable for rabbits. I dun rmb to see any fans around. N the place is veri smelly. I couldnt step in at all. The smell is so horrible. I think the dogs would rather die than live in such a condition.

Hehe.... Met up with the lovely girls of M3P!!!! I'm so looking forward to it that I even forfeit my studying time for a test the next dae to meet up wif them!! We met at Orchard mrt station, as usual, i'm the last one to arrive but i arrive on the dot... hehe...

Cai3 xian4:- aka Cai4 xian3. haha.. She's still the same as last time. The only difference is her hair!! She's the brainiest of all. So she's our peer tutor during poly.
Me:- Hmm.. I looked like China girl in poly days. ARGH!! *hides
Nana:- She's still as pretty as ever, in fact, more prettier... So envious k... She's the blurest sotong. My guy frenz told her she's cute, but tooooo bad... she's happily attached. Glad U haf found someone... Anyway, there's a post on her sometime back.
Momo:- You are already veri skinny. Pls stop saying you are fat. I dun see your fats anywhere.. She's the craziest of all. You won be bored with her coz she got lotsa stories to tell.. haha..
Aimei:- She's the 38 of our class!! haha... U won be able to find anyone more 38 than she is.. But that is oso the reason why we love her... But I believe she has changed into a demure young lady.. not as cranky as b4...

CX had to go back early coz she gotta wrk the next dae.... We wanted to go ktv but Nana gotta pay $20+ juz sitting there n wach us sing so we gave up the idea...

It was Chingay's rehearsal tt nite n the road was closed. We wanted to go over to one of the cafes at Cineleisure but we had to use the underpass which was abit too far for us.. So we rested our legs at NYDC outside Heeren. Which means our bitching session continued!!

Momo, I'll see you again next module.. Boohoo... It's unfair that you are exempted for MICR2204!! I cant seem to get all the microbes name into my big head!! And I won be seeing them on the streets or anywhere else, why I needa memorise their names? argh!

This morning, on my way to wrk, I saw a group of patients walking in twos along the pavement, led by a few nurses. I guessed it's their morning exercise or something. There were about 20 of them, mostly above 50yr olds. Some patients were curious about the things along the pavement and tried to leave the group, but were stopped by the nurse. Some wore a happy smile on their faces, as if they were out on the streets for the first time. I dare not looked further. This scene just bring me back to my pri sch days. I remembered how we would line up in twos and walked to our classrooms, flanked by 2 monitresses, in front and behind.

Many thoughts were running in my mind...

When I grow old, will I be like them, being confined in a small hospital room, waiting for everyday's morning walk?
Will I be like them, being treated like a pri sch kid when in fact i'm 60??
Will I be like them, mentally unsound and losing my family??
Will I be like them??
I don't know.... N I don't want to... But things are just too hard to predict.

But 1 thing for sure, they are happy.

They are happy to be able to see the pretty flowers along the road.
They are happy to be taken for a walk every morning.
They are happy when there's visitors to their ward, even if they don't know them.
They are happy over the slightest matter, or rather, things that other people took for granted.

They chose to be happy. Can I?
